No Ventrilo, No Raid Addons = No Raiding!

I'm tired of hearing people not having Ventrilo or seeing people without the required addons. New recruits usually get one "by" from us and a warning, but after that, it's over.

As of now, if you are not in Ventrilo at the start of the first pull or have the Guild Required Addons, you WILL be removed from the raid and replaced. No questions asked, no warnings given.

We are at the point where coordination is key for most fights and if we cannot relay that information within Ventrilo, there's no point for you to participate in the raid. We're not asking you talk or have a microphone, but you at the very least need the HEAR what's going on and REACT to change on a moment's notice.

No other warning will be given from now on...

This should not really be a surprise to anyone. It has been a long standing rule. Vent is an awsome tool that I believe we could use even more than we do. I do not know hardly anyone who can type faster than they can talk. Especially in the middle of a boss fight if you have time to type and read what is being typed you are not helping out the raid. If you are typing a mesage you are not dpsing to your fullest or not healing to your fullest or whatever your job might be. Just my humble opinion here.

typing while tanking is a no go for sure,
and as we saw last night things can change in a second,
so we all need to be on the same page,

RDX freaked me out at first,
but trust me,
toy with it,
and you will come to at the very least accept it,

other add ons like pally power,
SAVES US TIME,
have 3-4 pallys per raid and having them overlap on buffs,
then us calling out to fix the buffs kills time,

other add ons like Solarianalarm(sp?) and boos warning mods,
keeps us all alive,
and need to be paid attention too,
if it opens up a window you don't like,
they usually can be closed,
but timers that pop up usually REALLY help,

and dont forget they can be turned off post raid!

I used to be able to do close to 120 wpm...but that was long ago. In high school my friend Jamie convinced me that we should take Typing 1. It was me, him and 28 women in that class. The boy was a genius.

I took typing in high school...it was a double classroom...60 girls and me and another guy...I wasn't upset.

At my peak I was typing 110 wpm...in undergrad I made most of my beer and weekend spending money typing papers.

Even now I'm around 90+ wpm...although I'm getting a bit more typos than I would like due to the commonality of spellcheckers in just about everything, hehehe...

Well after my first RDX experience am going to have to learn it a lot more.

Its not horrible as I first thought (once I got all those default windows turned off I didn't need.


Its a bit different healing then I like but I'll adapt.

Typing class wasn't hard for me, its just all about hand-eye coronation.

Also that I had a crush on a girl in that class, bad part her mother was the teacher .
